Privacy Policy for Rise
Rise is a personal finance app from BetterForge LLC. It provides AI coaching from information you enter and, if you choose, from financial accounts you connect.
Information we collect
- Account email (sign-in).
- Profile you enter in the quiz or Edit Profile: age, monthly income, goals, timeline, obstacles, starting point, and risk tolerance.
- If you connect a bank through Plaid: account names and types, balances, and transactions we store so the app can show net worth, weekly spend, repeating charges, and coaching.
- Subscription status through RevenueCat and the App Store (Premium).
- App settings stored on your device (for example, that you finished the free snapshot).
We do not collect your bank password. Plaid handles the connection to your institution.
How we use it
- Sign you in and save your profile.
- Show Home (what you own and owe, weekly spend, repeating charges).
- Generate the free quiz snapshot and Premium coaching.
AI (OpenAI)
To write coaching we send relevant profile fields and, when you have connected accounts and tap Get AI Coaching, a limited set of account and transaction details. That is used to generate the reply. We do not sell this data. OpenAI’s handling of API data is described in their own policy.
Other services
- Supabase — authentication and database (profile, linked-account and transaction records).
- Plaid — account linking.
- RevenueCat and Apple — subscriptions.
- OpenAI — coaching text.
We do not sell your personal information. We share only what those providers need to run the features you use.
Your choices
- Skip or disconnect banks in the app. Disconnecting removes stored Plaid account and transaction data we hold for that link.
- Delete Account in Account Settings, or email us.
- Manage Premium in your Apple ID subscriptions.

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the new policy.
